Sd.Kfz. 7 Halftracks

History

The Sd.Kfz. 7 was a 8 ton halftrack prime mover used by the Wehrmacht during the World War II. The Sd.Kfz. 7 was designed by Krauss-Maffei AG in the 1930s to be used as the primary towing vehicle for the 8.8 cm Flak and the 15 cm sFH 18. There were a number of Self-propelled Anti-Aircraft variants built on the Sd.Kfz. 7 chassis. The Sd.Kfz. 7 was also used as a recovery vehicle.
