14 to 17 January 1942
The destroyer Z29 escorts battleship Tirpitz to the Trondheimfjord. Along with Paul Jakobi, Bruno Heinemann and Richard Beitzen.

18 to 20 January 1942
The destroyers Z29 returns to Germany along with Bruno Heinemann , Paul Jakobi and Richard Beitzen.

1945
The destroyers Z29 is seized as a prize of war by the USA.

1945
The destroyers Z29 is cannibalised at Bremerhaven.

16 December 1945
The destroyers Z29 is scuttled. Position 57° 53N 06° 13E.
