The British Admiralty announced that submarine HMS Snapper was overdue and considered lost.

The war against Italy, Berbera recaptured by British. Important heights above Keren taken. The British Royal Air Force (RAF) bombed aerodromes at Castel Benito and Makina during night of 15-16 March 1941.

Heavy night raid on Bristol, Fully loaded Junkers crashed in south of England.

The Italian war, Italian offensive in central sector, begun 9 March 1941, crushed. The British Royal Air Force (RAF) dropped 10 tons of bombs on Tirana. Valona also raided. Enemy planes again bombed Larissa.

Mr. Bevin announced new national registration for industry of men and women of certain ages.
