The British Admiralty announced that the trawlers HMS Strathrannock, HMS Galvani and HMS Philippe engaged Luftwaffe aircraft and set it on fire.

During their night of 24-25 January 1941 Coastal Command aircraft bombed submarine base at Lorient.

The war against Italy, Advanced British elements reported to have been in contact with enemy 3 miles east of Derna. Column of enemy medium tanks engaged and dispersed.

The British Royal Air Force (RAF) Bombed landing-ground at Maraua and aerodrome at Barce.

In Eritrea operations east of Keru and Aicota progressing satisfactorily. About 600 prisoners taken. Numerous supporting raids carried out by the British Royal Air Force (RAF)

East of Metemma (Abyssinia) pressure on enemy increased. Large portion of country now stated to be in hands of Patriots.

In Kenya ejection of enemy detachments from British side of frontier continued.

Day activity by Luftwaffe aircraft was on small scale. Bombs fell at two points in East Anglia. During night bombs were dropped on a coastal town in Cornwall.

The Greek War, Greeks forced Italians to withdraw their advanced outposts around key town of Tepelini to positions behind original lines, the British Royal Air Force (RAF) Made successful attack on Boulsar, near Elbasan.
