Over 150 tons of bombs dropped on Hamburg, one of the many targets of Bomber Commands night attacks. Emden, Bremerhaven, Wilhelmshaven, Kiel, and Luebeck also bombed.

Russian Front, Marshal Marshal Semyon Timoshenko's armies steadily pursued Paul Ludwig Ewald von Kleist forces towards Taganrog and drove back Hungarian and Romanian troops in Donetz Basin. Little change on Moscow front, where the Wehrmacht claimed the capture of Volokolamsk. Russians admitted loss of Tikhvin.

In Africa, The British Royal Air Force (RAF) announced that from start of Libyan battle to midnight on 30 November 1941, 176 Luftwaffe aircraft had been destroyed for certain. Furious tank battle continued near Sidi Rezegh. Heavy night raid by the British Royal Air Force (RAF) on Benghazi.
