Kriegsmarine shipping attacked by the British Royal Air Force (RAF) off North Coast of France.

Russian Front, Several successful Russian counter-attacks on the Moscow front. Russians still advancing in the southern Ukraine. Situation still serious around Tula.

In Africa, Fighting flared up again in Libya with heavy Afrika Corps attacks on El Duda. Indians made successful attack on Bir el Gobi.

In the Mediterranean, Night attack on Naples by the British Royal Air Force (RAF).

Wehrmacht major shot in Paris.

Würzburg Radar Array At Bruneval Picture 1

RAF photo reconnaissance picture of the Würzburg radar array at Bruneval, France, taken by Squadron Leader A.E. Hill on 5 December 1941. Photos like this enabled a raiding force to locate, and make off with, the radar's vital components in February 1942 for analysis in Britain.
