The British Royal Air Force (RAF) bombers heavily bombed Schneider arms works at Le Creusot, South of Paris, 3 bombers missing.

In the Pacific. It was announced that the Japanese held Nauru Island.

His Majesty the King inspected the British 8th Army in North Africa.

Northwest African Air Forces (NAAF). During 18-19 June 1943, Northwest African Strategic Air Force (NASAF) Wellingtons bomb Syracuse. Northwest African Tactical Air Force (NATAF), Northwest African Coastal Air Force (NACAF), and North West African Photo Reconnaissance Wing aeroplanes maintain patrols and reconnaissance over areas of North Africa the Mediterranean, Sicily, Sardinia and mainland Italy.

Ninth Air Force. United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-24 Liberator heavy bombers attack ferry and railroad yards at Villa San Giovanni, ferries in Straits of Messina, and harbour of Reggio di Calabria.

Fifth Air Force. United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-17 Flying Fortress heavy bombers and B-24 Liberator heavy bombers thoroughly pound Vunakanau airfield. A-20 Havoc light bombers hit barges in Hanisch Harbour and trail near village of Tamigudu. Single B-24 Liberator heavy bombers bomb Finschhafen area and Rapopo airstrip.

Thirteenth Air Force. During 18-19 June 1943, United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-24 Liberator heavy bombers bomb Nauru.

Seventh Air Force. During 18-19 June 1943, 2 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-24 Liberator heavy bombers fly photo reconnaissance of Jaluit from Funafuti.
