Eighth Air Force. 38 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-17 Flying Fortress heavy bombers attack V-weapon site at Marquise, Mimoyecques while 90 B-24 Liberator heavy bombers bomb similar target at Saint-Pol, Siracourt.

Ninth Air Force. 45 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) A-20 Havoc light bombers and B-26 Marauder medium bombers bomb airfields at Creil and Evreux, Fauville, and Somain marshalling yard. Over 300 others are forced to abandon missions because of thick clouds.

Twelfth Air Force. United States Army Air Force (USAAF) medium bombers and light bombers again hit command lines North and North West of the front while fighter-bombers in close support of Allied ground assault through Gustav Line blast gun positions, motor transport, ammunition supplies, bridges, rolling stock, and other military targets in the battle area. The medium bombers and light bombers also hit harbours and vessels along coasts at Piombino, Talamone, Portoferraio, and Ancona.

Fifteenth Air Force. Weather cancels all operations except fighters sweep over Toulon Marseille area.

Tenth Air Force. 20 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) A-31 Vengeance dive bomber's hit gun positions West of Buthidaung and signal centre to the Southeast. 19 B-25 Mitchell medium bombers pound targets along Tiddim road while 36 A-31 Vengeance dive bomber's hit Moirang. 20 B-25 Mitchell medium bombers and fighter-bombers hit gun positions at Hopin and airfield at Myitkyina. 17 P-38 Lightning fighters attack Heho and Kangaung airfield, claiming 15 aircraft destroyed, most of them in the air. 7 B-24 Liberator heavy bombers bomb Myitkyina, Kalewa, and Mandalay.

Fourteenth Air Force. United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-25 Mitchell medium bombers strike Kengluang bridge and hit installations near Wan Pa-Hsa. P-40 fighters strafe troops near Pingkai, along Mamien Pass, and in the Mengta area.

Fifth Air Force. Wewak Hansa Bay area is again hit by A-20 Havoc light bombers, B-24 Liberator heavy bombers, and fighter-bombers. B-24 Liberator heavy bombers and B-25 Mitchell medium bombers attack numerous targets in Wakde Sawar Sarmi Maffin Bay areas and on Biak Island. Thirteenth Air Task Force B-24 Liberator heavy bombers from the Admiralties bomb supply and bivouac areas on Mariaon and Tagaulap Islands and antiaircraft guns on Woleai and Paliau Islands.

Thirteenth Air Force. 24 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-25 Mitchell medium bombers and 40 P-40 fighters, P-38 Lightning fighters, and P-39 fighters, along with torpedo bombers and SBD Dauntless dive bomber, pound area North of Muguai, and hit Maika area between Muguai and Ebery's Lease. 40 fighters on sweeps over Bougainville and Shortland Islands attack antiaircraft positions, trucks, and huts at several locations including Kieta, Cape Friendship, and Chabai areas. Allied fighters sweeps continue over Rabaul area several targets, including a concentration of barges in Keravia Bay, are hit.

Seventh Air Force. Operations are limited to photo reconnaissance of Jaluit from Kwajalein.
