Fourteenth Air Force. 6 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-25 Mitchell medium bombers and 4 P-47 Thunderbolt fighters knock out Chungmow bridge and damage bridge at Sincheng. 2 B-25 Mitchell medium bombers bomb truck convoys in Paoching, Hengyang, and Changsha areas. 60 fighter-bombers hit troops, artillery positions, command targets, and general targets in South and East China, concentrating on Yangchi and Fantung areas.

Far East Air Force (FEAF). United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-24 Liberator heavy bombers bomb Toshien airfield and towns of Koshun, Kato, Takao, Toko, and Shajo. B-25 Mitchell medium bombers pound Kagi. B-25 Mitchell medium bombers, A-20 Havoc light bombers, and fighter-bombers continue to support ground action near Paranum and in Ipo Dam sector. B-24 Liberator heavy bombers bomb airfields at Keningau and B-25 Mitchell medium bombers bomb Brunei Bay area. B-24 Liberator heavy bombers hit Mandai and Boeloedowang airfields.

Twentieth Air Force. Approximately 50 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-29 Superfortress heavy bomber's attack airfields at Oita, Saeki, Nittagahara, Miyazaki, and Miyakonojo. 92 others bomb Kawanishi aircraft plant at Kobe. B-29 Superfortress heavy bomber's claim 9 fighters downed on Kobe mission. Missions against Japanese airfields terminate air campaign, begun on 17 April 1945, during which Twentieth Air Force has devoted major effort toward hitting sources of Kamikaze raids against United States Navy and Marine forces in the Battle of Okinawa.

Seventh Air Force. 14 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) P-51 Mustang fighter-bombers from Iwo Jima strafe and bomb radio station at Chichi Jima. 10 Guam based B-24 Liberator heavy bombers hit airfields on Param, while 13 pound Marcus Island runways.
