Eighth Air Force. General Larson relieves General Kepner as Commanding General, Eighth Air Force.

Fourteenth Air Force. 16 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-25 Mitchell medium bombers bomb enemy fort at Bac Ninh, hit railroad yards and trains at Thanh Hoa, Phu Dien, Yen Li Station, Ha Trung, and Ninh Binh, damage tunnel at La Son, bomb barge concentration at Ha Dong, and attack a train near Duc Tho bridge. 40 P-51 Mustang fighter-bombers and P-38 Lightning fighters hit road, rail, and river transport, coastal shipping, troops, supply lines, and targets in Indochina and South and East China.

Far East Air Force (FEAF). United States Army Air Force (USAAF) fighter-bombers attack positions and supply areas in the Cagayan Valley, other locations in North Luzon and in the Marikina and Infanta areas in Central Luzon. B-24 Liberator heavy bombers pound Balikpapan town area, Manggar airfield, Sepinggang defences, and Oelin airfield. B-25 Mitchell medium bombers bomb town on Keningau while P-38 Lightning fighters blast the nearby airfield. The fighter-bombers attack Kudat and caves near Jesselton. P-38 Lightning fighters hit targets at Mato and Kagi and targets along West coast.

Twentieth Air Force. 25 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-29 Superfortress heavy bomber's mine the sea approaches around Fushiki, Senzaki, Nanao, and Yuya Bay during 21-22 June 1945.

Seventh Air Force. 24 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-24 Liberator heavy bombers from Guam bomb fuel oil storage and power plant buildings on Eten Island.
