Fourteenth Air Force. 8 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-25 Mitchell medium bombers bomb bridge approach North of Hankow, 1 damages railroad track between Changsha and Kweiyi, and 2 score near misses on bridge at Kuanhsuishih. 3 B-25 Mitchell medium bombers and 6 P-51 Mustang fighter-bombers damage bridge at Chihsien and hit railroad targets in Anyang area. 50 fighter-bombers on armed reconnaissance continue attacks against river, road, and rail traffic, positions, troops, bridges, and numerous other targets in South and East China.

Far East Air Force (FEAF). United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-25 Mitchell medium bombers blast numerous targets in Cagayan valley while A-20 Havoc light bombers and P-51 Mustang fighter-bombers support ground forces in North West Luzon sectors. P-38 Lightning fighters napalm bomb Ipo Dam and Marikina River sectors and hit positions throughout Negros Island. B-24 Liberator heavy bombers hit Brunei, Melak airstrip, Samarinda shipyards, and troop concentrations on Tarakan Island. P-38 Lightning fighters strafe railroad rolling stock in Saigon area.

Seventh Air Force. United States Army Air Force (USAAF) P-47 Thunderbolt fighters fly heckler strikes against Kyushu during 21-22 May 1945.
