Eighth Air Force. 2 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) P-51 Mustang fighter-bombers groups fly sweeps over Wahn airfield Dorweiler area and Karlsruhe, Koblenz area, claiming 3 fighters downed.

Ninth Air Force. 25 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) 9th Bomber Division bombers hit command centres at Schleiden, Stadtkyll, and Pronsfeld. Fighters fly armed reconnaissance, sweeps, Air Force cover, and bomb 1 bridge. XIX Tactical Air Command supports United States III, VIII, XII, and XX Corps elements along battle front at several points from South West of Saint-Vith to Saarlautern area.

Twelfth Air Force. Cloud conditions and ground fog at bases nearby halt operations. 1 medium bombers flies weather reconnaissance over Venice area and P-47 Thunderbolt fighters fly weather reconnaissance over Bologna Parma area. 2 of the P-47 Thunderbolt fighters destroy a truck and damage a train near Parma.

Fifteenth Air Force. Unfavourable weather limits operations to 1 complete weather reconnaissance mission.

Tenth Air Force. 12 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-25 Mitchell medium bombers bomb Hsumhsai airfield. 17 P-47 Thunderbolt fighters support ground forces at Padin near Namhkam, and along the Irrawaddy in Bahe area. 6 P-47 Thunderbolt fighters knock out Inailong bypass bridge. Troop concentrations and supply areas are attacked at Nawngang, Pangsan, Mansak, Konsan, Yaunggwin, Mangkung, Nawngngun, Mong Long, Mogok, Namhsan, and in Mongmit area. Transports again fly over 500 sorties to forward areas.

Fourteenth Air Force. 12 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) P-51 Mustang fighter-bombers on armed reconnaissance attack railroad targets North of Siangsiang, between Loyang and Kaifeng, and near Tungchen. 21 locomotives are claimed destroyed.

Far East Air Force (FEAF). United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-24 Liberator heavy bombers pound Corregidor, Cavite, Canacao peninsula seaplane base, and Grande Island. Far East Air Force (FEAF) fighters and bombers on sweeps, armed reconnaissance, and light raids attack a variety of targets all over Luzon including small shipping, airfields, defensive positions, storage and town areas, roads, and vehicles. During 24-25 January 1945, B-24 Liberator heavy bombers on snooper mission again hit Takao airfield.

Twentieth Air Force. 20 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-29 Superfortress heavy bomber's of 313th Bomber Wing hit 2 airfields on Iwo Jima.

Seventh Air Force. 33 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-24 Liberator heavy bombers, from Guam and Saipan, pound Iwo Jima during 4 raids. 6 others act as airborne spotters for naval bombardment of Iwo. During 5 hours of 24-25 January 1945, 10 heavy bombers maintain harassment strikes against the island's airfields.

Eleventh Air Force. 4 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-25 Mitchell medium bombers on a low-level attack on Torishima abort due to mechanical trouble. 4 more B-25 Mitchell medium bombers bomb buildings on Torishima. Antiaircraft fire damages 2 B-25 Mitchell medium bombers. 6 fighters take off after radar reports an unidentified target Southeast of Attu. They spot a balloon which they shoot down with tracers.
