Twelfth Air Force. General Myers assumes command of Twelfth Air Force.

Fifteenth Air Force. General Mollison assumes command of Fifteenth Air Force.

Fourteenth Air Force. 12 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-25 Mitchell medium bombers and 6 P-51 Mustang fighter-bombers damage 2 bridges North of Hankow. 4 B-25 Mitchell medium bombers hit railroad targets around Lohochai and between Kinkiang and Kioshan. 3 B-25 Mitchell medium bombers attack truck convoys in Siangtan and Paoching areas and along Paoching Hengyang Changsha highway. 80 fighter-bombers over several areas in South and East China continue to harass Japanese movements, attacking troops and positions and hitting rail and road traffic. Japanese complete withdrawal from Yungning, severing land connection with Indochina. Chinese retake Nanning.

Far East Air Force (FEAF). United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-25 Mitchell medium bombers and P-38 Lightning fighters sweep West part of Formosa causing extensive damage to a variety of command and industrial targets. A-20 Havoc light bombers and fighter-bombers pound numerous Luzon targets, particularly in Balete Pass area. B-24 Liberator heavy bombers bomb Tuguegarao and Echague. Fighter-bombers also support ground forces on Cebu. B-24 Liberator heavy bombers, B-25 Mitchell medium bombers, and fighter-bombers hit Tarakan Island, Beaufort, Weston, Tenom, Trusan Haji, Sandakan, and Jesselton.

Twentieth Air Force. During 26-27 May 1945, 29 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-29 Superfortress heavy bomber's mine waters in Shimonoseki Strait and at Fushiki, Fukuoka, and Karatsu.

Seventh Air Force. 16 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) P-47 Thunderbolt fighters from Saipan strafe airfields on Moen, seaplane base on Dublon, and several targets. 10 Guam based B-24 Liberator heavy bombers bomb airfields on Marcus.
