Fourteenth Air Force. 7 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-25 Mitchell medium bombers and 4 P-51 Mustang fighter-bombers bomb town of Changsha, troop concentration and supply area, and blast truck convoys and ammunition trains in Yovang area. 28 P-51 Mustang fighter-bombers hit command centre South of Puchou, knock out bridges near Kiehsiu and Neikiuhsien, bomb gun emplacements and defensive positions Southeast of Hsihsiakou, and attack railroad traffic and damage a road bridge in Suchow and Yoyang areas.

Far East Air Force (FEAF). United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-24 Liberator heavy bombers pound installations in Manggar area while B-24 Liberator heavy bombers, B-25 Mitchell medium bombers, and P-38 Lightning fighters hit defences near Balikpapan. The P-38 Lightning fighters also skip bomb oil storage. Other heavy bombers hit runways at Tabanio and Oelin. B-24 Liberator heavy bombers bomb airfields at Limboeng and Langoan. Fighter-bombers hit troop concentrations in Kiangan area while supporting ground forces and attack Japanese concentrations and positions between Ipo and Infanta. B-24 Liberator heavy bombers strike Keishu butanol plant.

Twentieth Air Force. During 28-29 June 1945, 487 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-29 Superfortress heavy bomber's carry out fire-bomb attacks on Okayama, Sasebo, Moji, and Nobeoka.

Seventh Air Force. 3 United States Army Air Force (USAAF) B-24 Liberator heavy bombers from Guam bomb fuel storage on Marcus. 39 P-47 Thunderbolt fighters from Ie Shima attack shipping at Koniya with rocket and bombing and hit Tokuno Island with rockets and machine gun fire. 26 more hit targets in Sakishima Archipelago including vessels, docks, airfield, floatplane, and village.
