History

The Henschel Hs 295 was a anti-ship missile. Designed and developed by Henschel und Sohn in 1944.

The Henschel Hs 295 was an amalgamation of the Hs 294 and Hs 293 the aft fuselage and control systems were the same as Hs 293 and the wing was from the Hs 294 the general idea behind the Henschel Hs 295 was to increase its armour piercing ability, it had 2 × Walter HWK 109-509D liquid fuel bipropellant rocket engine producing up to 1,700 kg of thrust each, testing started in April 1944 on the Henschel Hs 295 however testing was not completed.
