Severe infantry struggle reported to be in progress north 
                    of Lake Ladoga. Russian aeroplanes again bombed to Finnish 
                    towns, particularly Viipuri (Viborg).
                    
                    Tension in Belgium and Holland, somewhat relaxed, although 
                    increased German activity across Dutch frontier still gives 
                    rise to anxiety.
                    
                    The British trawler, William Ivey was bombed and machine-gunned 
                    in the North sea.
                    
                    The Dutch steamer Arendskerk was sunk by U-boat in the Bay 
                    of Biscay.
                    
                    Threatening protests by the Russian government against help 
                    being given to Finland rejected by Norway and Sweden.
                    
                    At Germany's request, the Danish island of Roenoe near the 
                    German base of Sylt, is now blacked out.
