The British air ministry announced that following a German 
                    raid on the Orkneys, The British Royal Air Force (RAF) bombers, 
                    damaged a German airbase at Hornum, on the island of Sylt. 
                    Action was still in progress at midnight.

                    In a total of 58, 500, 15,700 were killed.
                    
                    The British Admiralty announced that up to the 13 March 1940, 
                    12,816 ships had been convoyed by the British navy, and of
