The 55 mm MK 112 (Maschinenkanone 112) was a machine cannon designed and produced by Rheinmetall-Borsig in 1945. The 55 mm MK 112 was a development of the 30 mm MK 108

The 55 mm MK 112 was of light construction and was particularly easy to construct due to the fact that over 80% of the weapon was made stamped parts.
